    hi all, how you doing.?

    can i ask please,...

    i have xbox1 & i have been messaging a friend on xbox 360.

    at new year i gave xbox360 user a 14day xbox gold pass, to give him a taste of what goes on.

    it ran out 14/01/18.

    we have been messaging ok while he had the 14day gold. but now he is not receiving any of my messages & im not getting his.

    also i have another friend that as just got a second hand xbox360 & is set up but not gold.

    i have friended him & sent messages, but again he is not getting them.

    so, i no it works, messages to & from x1 & x360 do work.

    but do they only work with gold.?

    can you please help.?

    Sending video messages?

    I'm just glad no one can actually see me LIVE playing through the kinect. That would suck.

    I've been experiencing this same issue for a month or so now. It makes sending messages 4x longer than it normally does and than it should. I absolutely hate sending messages on the Xbox One now because of this. I haven't tried the hard reset yet, so I'll
    try that out and see if that helps. Hopefully it does. It shouldn't be something that happens. Makes the system feel sluggish, when it should be a smooth experience.
