Messages wont work on windows 10 app

Whenever I go on to the app I try to look at my messages and they wont load it just says "try again-we had trouble getting your discussions" I've tried to sign out ans sign back in, but it does nothing please help.

Xbox one custom gamerpic problems

Ok,so you can now upload a custom gamerpic if you have the xbox beta app on a windows 10 pc.

If it's the ordinary xbox app it wont work

can't send any messages

i can't send messages in xbox live. It doesn't work at the xbox one, xbox app on Windows 10 or xbox app on android. Everything else like online gaming and so on works except to send messages to other gamers. Receiving messages works fine.

It seems that your Xbox app got corrupted that's why it doesn't show your messages. Let's try to troubleshoot your Xbox app by performing the following solutions below:

Solution 1: Run the Windows app troubleshooter to scan and repair your app. You may refer to this
link to run the troubleshooter.

Solution 2: Reset the Xbox app.

Press the Windows key, and then select the gear icon to access Settings.

Select Apps.

Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.

Click the Xbox app, and then click Advanced options.

Click Reset.

Solution 3: Reinstall the Xbox app.

Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell in the search box.

Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

Type the following command to uninstall the Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

Hit Enter.

Restart your computer.

After restarting your computer, go to the Windows PowerShell as administrator again and then type the following command to install the apps back to your computer:
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Hit Enter.

First, I suggest giving your PC a complete restart. Then run the app troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps:

Also, try to see if you cannot send or retrieve messages on account.xbox.com or the mobile Xbox app. If they also are not working then the issue may be related to a temporary server issue transferring the data between clients.
