Discus and support Messages won't send, flawless reputation.. help? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Have seen this problem before.. I cycled router no help.     Messages won't send, flawless reputation.. help?


    Have seen this problem before.. I cycled router no help. How can I fix this so I can message ppl?

    can't send messages

    I checked my reputation and it says I was in good standing and it still won't let me send messages

    Message won't send

    I was trying to send messages but it says "message didn't send". I can receive messages but not send. I checked my settings but everything is ok. There was no email sent of suspicion or ban. My Smartglass app works fine, but it's my Xbox One itself. Is there
    something wrong with the messaging or is it just me?

    Won't send messages

    Hey there jazzybayes!

    Sorry to hear about the trouble with sending messages to your friend, are you able to receive messages from them? What happens if you try sending a message to them from Xbox.com or from your the Xbox App on a mobile device?

    With your Xbox One, it may be worth trying a quick power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it powers off, then give it another go.

    Reputation Score falling.

    Your reputation may have decreased due to negative feedback over the past few days or so, it's not always instant. To improve your reputation, you will need to play online normally, but either be friendly, or don't use in-game voice chat or send messages
    - this is the only way to make sure that you won't receive bad feedback.

    If your reputation drops to 'Avoid me' then you'll likely have trouble joining online games and playing with others.

    There's no quick fix to getting a better reputation unfortunately, if you are getting negative reputation even when you send smiley faces in a message then the best advice I can give for now is to stop messaging people that you aren't on friendly terms
    with.
