    Messages sending but not being received.


    As the title says, messages are sending with no problems, however there is a serious lag, and messages are not being received unless the console is turned off and back on, or the profile is signed out then signed back in. My boyfriend and i have been experiencing
    this on my accounts and on his. Its not limited to a console, its not limited to 1 or 2 accounts. Between me and my boyfriend we share several accounts, some for recording, some for helping out other gamers within game, and some for just us to goof off and
    hang out together. But we have noticed this message issue on ALL of our accounts, and some of our friends have mentioned it as well. What is going on with the Xboxlive servers? Is it just happening to 360 players or is it happening on xboxone as well?

    messages not sending

    hi so since the last update i have not been able to send messages from xbox consoles or from a pc! i have checked the enforcement page and i have a perfect record not enforcements ever. i have 2 xbox consoles, one had the update and one didnt the one that
    wasnt updated would let me send messages untill i updated it then i couldnt send them. i have done many troubbleshooting tips looking on the support pages and with the tech help via chat but we are all stuck on what to do? has anyone else had this issue and
    was it resolved? as people are begining to think i am ignoring them when they message me and some games i wont even play as other players will message me

    i can hear them and they can hear me if they send me a party invite. but when they were in my party they couldnt hear me. i think my account has a bad glitch or something

    Hi, sorry to here you are having issues. Is this the same on the app too? Can you send or receive them via the app on your phone or a PC? Also are you in the Insider Program at all?

    Hey Chrono

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to sent or receive massages on your Xbox console.

    There could possibly be some intermittent connection issues occurring that are prevent you from being able to correctly see these messages.

    If when you test your network, you do not receive any error codes, I would first recommend that you

    remove your account and re-add it     to see if this helps alleviate this matter, just make sure you know the email and password associated with your account before you do this.

    Give this a try and let us know if this works for you.

    Is there a chance your friend accidentally blocked you? The only reason I am asking that is because you can’t send messages to them or hear them in the party chat.
