    messages section on xbox app won't load


    On my Galaxy s6 edge+, the ability of the xbox app to receive messages sent via live was lagging way behind. Messages received were appearing an hour or more after my console received them (if at all) and I could send outgoing messages only about half the
    time. Other times, a weeks or months old message will show up as if it were a new message still tagged with the original date it was received. There appears to be no issue on my console or xbox app on my Surface 4.

    I then checked the notifications settings in the app and everything is checked off except the first item that notifies me when my favorites sign in to live. I figure the next step is to perform an un/reinstall. Now, the messages area doesn't populate at
    all and I can't send any outgoing messages. This is also true if I try to access messaging functions through the friends list and viewing a profile.

    Anybody out there have a solution or at least some insight into why this is happening?

    Messages wont work

    My messages section on my Xbox won't load up at, it will show the loading icon and wont stop until it says they couldn't get it. I can see messages from 2 weeks and that's it. I try to see them on the Xbox beta app on windows but every time I get a glimpse
    of the messages the app crashes. I need some assistance with this issue

  3. Game DVRs won't load on Windows 10

    When I go into the game DVR section of the Xbox app on Windows 10, then select a clip, it won't load (even after 15-20 minutes). But, when I try to load captures (pictures), or game clips from other sections of the Xbox app, they load fairly quick. Please
    help, I want to use these clips outside of the Xbox app and am pretty sure that the only way is through the download feature in the game DVR section. Thank You!

    Messages on Xbox app aren't loading for two days now, Xbox.com website for going on two months now

    Also, as stated before, I can send messages on my Xbox One just fine.

    This morning I logged into the Xbox app with a separate gamertag, and the messages won't load on that gamertag either.

    I then logged into that separate gamertag and went to Xbox.com, and the messages loaded.

    Hot. Mess.

    Weird! Also, hello good sir! Long time no see!

    For the Xbox App, can you post a screenshot of that for us for what it looks like now? We want to make sure that everything is looking as it should be to ensure we aren't going to run into further issues with that.

    As for the messaging issue on xbox.com, we are currently aware of the situation and are actively investigating it. In fact, this account of mine is currently running into the same issue. The teams looking into this need some information that might be difficult
    to obtain, but we're hoping you can help us out to provide it to the investigating team. I'll provide a screenshot of what we're looking for so it can help you out.

    1. Sign in to xbox.com in Chrome.
    2. Hit F12 on your keyboard before loading your messages.
    3. Load your messages on the same page the device toolbar popped up.
    4. Click Network in the top options (see screenshot if unsure).
    5. The failure should be at the bottom of everything running, and highlighted in red. Mine starts with GetUserPresences and it should be the same for you.
    6. If you don't see the failure, there's a search box under the red dot where you can type in the phrase bolded above.
    7. Click on that failure. It should pull another window up with more information.
    8. Scroll down the General section a little bit to see the 503 error that should be there.
    9. Screenshot that.
    10. Scroll down just a little bit to see the first Response Headers section.
    11. Screenshot that. One screenshot is best, but totally understand if you do separate ones. :)

    Hopefully my screenshot helps you out with determining what all you need. Do not hesitate to let us know if you are unable to gather this because this is something that we will want to let the investigating team know. Thanks so much for your assistance here!

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear your messages aren't loading. Have you tried
    power cycling
    your Xbox One, as well as restarting your router / modem? Your messages should expire about 30 days after you receive them, so you shouldn't have to worry about deleting them unless you want to. :)

    Let us know how that goes and if it gets resolved!
    The next time you answer a post, I would request you to bother to actually read the question. I have explained that the problem is on the app and the website, not the console. Also, messages no longer expire after 30 days, which I explained in the post.
    Do you literally disregard everything I said?

    Hey, red!

    I wanted to let you know that this should be resolved now. You will need to clear the cache out of the browsers that you were using for your account, and then try again.

    If you are still running into the error, please post back the exact steps that you are following to get the error. The engineers working on this are requesting that information.

    I appreciate your patience on this! I look forward to your results. :)
