    I've been having trouble sending messages on my account and cannot resieve invitations to parties or games. I tried sending a code to my phone number don't see how that could help at all.. still having trouble

    Hey there!

    If you
    power cycle     your console, are you able to send messages and receive notifications? If not and you continue to have troubles, you'll want to follow the steps here to

    update your security proofs    .

    Keep us posted if that doesn't work so we can see if we can dig up anything else. Messages problem :)

    Hey there ItsTingo!

    Let's have you start out by removing your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox One, perform a full power cycle (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds), and then add your profile back. Let us know if that helps.

    Hello Panda,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue with being able to send messages on the Xbox One console.

    We recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.
