Messages problem Need Help

any fix for the messages issue on Xbox 360.

I've looked it up and I'm not the only one who experiencing this issue. The main problem is that all my messages got deleted off my Xbox and when I receive a new message, that message will be deleted within 20 minutes or so automatically instead of the 30
day wait.

The second problem is sometimes when I send messages there is a delay until the other player receives. I've never had this issue before and it seems that this automatic message delete problem has caused this.

Any help to fix this these 2 problems would help.

Error message: The Kinect Sensor couldn't start - How to solve

Are you receiving the following error message?

The Kinect Sensor couldn’t start

If you see this error message and the sensor of your console is red, you’ll need to follow the steps bellow.

You have to ensure that the sensor is at room temperature. You need to unplug the sensor and plug it back in again. If the problem exists, you should do it again.

If the Kinect sensor is very cold, you might receive this error message. So, the sensor needs to warm up.

Here is how:

First, you need to turn off your Xbox 360 console.

You must wait for the Kinect sensor to reach room temperature (approximately 70 °F or 21 °C).

Finally, turn your console on to check out whether the problem still exists.

If you cannot solve the problem after performing all above, the sensor should be repaired.

One month and not solution??? I've been having this same problems. The deleting thing hasn't started for me until the last week, but the delayed messaging has been going on for about two to three months now.

Sounds like one or more of the accounts on your console has received a communication suspension.

You can check on the enforcement site
here where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

if you haven't yet, have you tried to see what happens when you send messages via xbox.com or via the Xbox App to see if that makes any difference.

Also be sure to check
http://enforcement.xbox.com to see if any enforcement action on your account could be affecting this

Another thing to check if your account is allowed to communicate with others via settings here:
http://account.xbox.com/settings

If this is a child account then a parental account needs to change these settings.

If this is only happening on the console, then try the following:

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

Sign in at
account.live.com/reputationcheck.
Add your phone number, then select Send code.
Get the code from the text message sent to your phone, enter it on the webpage, and select
Submit.
If you’re using your Xbox, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, then turn it on and sign back in. If you’re on a PC or mobile device, sign out of the Xbox app, then sign back in.

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard reset, and re-adding the account.
