    My messages on xbox 360 aswell as xb1 i think dont seem to send to non friends.

    Ive been with xbox chat 2 times now and we still havent solved the issue of my messages not sending to non friends on xbox. Please help?

    Message limit?

    Notice that his question included "when I try to send a message to someone on my friend list from the website." He is trying to send a message to his friends, which sounds like a glitch to me. Quoting the rule about sending to non friends is irrelevant in
    this case unless he is mistaken about the person being on his friends list.

    If you're trying to send messages on Xbox.com, you have a limit on messages you can send to non friends on here. Also, you would need a Gold membership to send messages on Xbox.com.

    what's your rep at? i find since mine reached 80% avoided i can't send messages to non-friends either.

    Still trying to figure this out. Any help from Microsoft would be great.

    No restrictions on my console or account.

    CAN send messages to friends.

    CAN send messages if a friend request is pending between me and a person.

    CAN send messages to people who are non friends BUT it will not do it on the first try. I must try at least 20-35 times now. This is seriously getting out of hand. It's only MY account too, I've made other accounts to see if it's my console, but they work
    just fine in receiving/sending messages.
