    Hello everybody, as of last night I've been unable to receive any notifications from people who have messaged me. Not only that but the message menu where you view your chats will not update for me when either sending a message or getting one. This is
    also happening to my friends and we are unsure what to do. I have tried resetting my Xbox and turning it off and on but no results. What do I do to fix this?

    Yes exactly! I'm not sure what it is but I want it fixed soon, it can be very annoying.

    I am seeing this on my xbox and it has been like a week and I just thought it was a bug and would eventually go away and there is no message I just have a little 1 on the message tab.

    I would check the XBL server status first to see if theres someone going on with the communications. ThenI would try hard restarting your system.
    I have tried this but unfortunately they say that everything is fine when it doesn't appear to be the case. This is something all of my friends are experiencing. I believe this isn't just the Xbox, but the servers. I hope this gets more reports so they can
    fix it.

    Mine is fixed now, i have a convosation with a gamer and you could always try a soft reset, all your accounts will have to be signed in again but all your data and games will stay. Thats what i did and after a while, it works. Only do it as a last resort
    though.

    Im having the exact same problem, i dont know what todo, when i send a message, it will go through, but it will have a long delay and not show up for a long period of time
