    Minecraft isn't letting me on multiplayer servers even though I have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription and my clubs and multiplayer settings are set to "allow". I personally think one of two things could have happened, maybe either I had unenrolled the Beta program (this occurred right after I unenrolled into the beta) or my Xbox live gold. (this also happened straight after my gold got renewed) I've tried Uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my Xbox, changing my settings from "allow" to "deny" and then back to "allow". None of this seemed to work. It would really be great if I could get your reply. Also, this has only been happening on Minecraft. All my other multiplayer games work fine. Thank you.

    Minecraft Windows 10 edition can't play multiplayer!

    It didnt help, the message that comes up is "you cannot play online multiplayer because of how your account is set up"

    Once you opt out of beta and then uninstall it, you shouldn't be able to install beta without opting back in. You must restart console before installing normal minecraft. Then try installing normal version and see if multiplayer works.

    I have uninstalled the beta and went on to the normal version- I have tried to re-install the beta and uninstall it again also as an attempt to resolving the issue, but that method didn't work. I'm still quite unsure about what's causing this issue.

    Yes this is from the beta trying to integrate with the normal minecraft. Once you opt out of beta, you have to uninstall beta version and install the normal version again.

    I have the same issue with my children’s accounts. No matter what settings I change, they cannot play with me on my realm.

    This is infuriating especially since it’s only affecting minecraft. I can play other multiplayer games with them, though.
