    There seems to be a problem with the Xbox One message system (at least for me). My message list refuses to update, which means i no longer get messages, cannot delete messages, etc. This has been a problem for a couple of months, and it has become a real
    problem. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would gladly take any advice on this situation.

    Avoiding XBL PM spam?

    This probably has bothered you too at some point. If I'm playing a popular game, no matter what I do, I always end up getting bombarded with messages.
    Whenever I play some drop-in matches in FIFA 13, I always end up getting FIFA Ultimate Team 'duplication glitch' scammers and things like that.
    Is there a way to turn off the messaging system so that I won't even get these messages?

    No, you cannot be banned for single player. You MIGHT get profile banned for modding/system tampering if caught. But glitching you cannot get Profile banned but R* can IP ban you online if they want for glitching. That is if they want actually want to.

    this is usually not a result of a Hack, but if you want to be sure, check the things on this link to be able to determine if you might have been hacked:

    If you don't think you have been hacked the best thing to do is to check if all information like address and payment options is still correct at
    http://billing.microsoft.com.

    If all is correct and still experiencing problems I advise to contact Xbox Support via
    support.xbox.com/contact-us they should be able to see what the problem is and help you solve it.
