Message sending over xbox.com is horrible!

I have recently attempted to send messages to my friends over XBOX.COM as it is the easiest way to select all and send message all friends. I have noticed that they have changed the layout. I do not mind it that much as it does look newer and nicer. My issue
is the fact that I can only send messages up to 32 people at a time!
I used to be able to send messages to 100 people and now it's 32?!

Another problem is that when I try to send the messages to my 32 selected contacts, it comes up saying "Unable to send message. Please try again later",
which is quite annoying.

I do not like sending message to all my friends over console as it is very time consuming selecting all my friends and having to write it out slowly. Why did they change the message system to be worse? Why am I unable to send messages? Some help would be
appreciated.

Do you get this error message when sending messages to all players or is it to a specific person? What happens if you try sending the message from here on Xbox.com, is there any change?

Have you tired sending it from Xbox.com? Making sure (as Daft Badger said) that the gamertag you are trying to add is spelled correctly?

I'm also having the same issue. If anyone finds a fix or info on why it's changed, please pass it along.

I can understand your frustration, but for the average user like me that only messages one person at a time, the update is so much better then the old, huge improvement imo.

 

I think the better question is why do you need to send 100 people a message at once? I can guarantee that at least 75 of those people dont care what you have to say.

 

The only time I think a person should M2AF is if they change their gamertag, or they got rid of their console and won't ever be seen again. If you aren't doing either of those things, I promise, no one cares.

 

^^ lol, that's true. Whenever a message to all friends came through I never read it.

 

I read the M2AF messages that my friends send through, but as soon as it's a voice message I'm not interested.

 

I have 65 friends, and I read EVERY message I receive. I also do M2AF's on a regular basis. Usually reminders to everyone that the free games are available and what they are. No-one has complained and I have asked them to tell me if they don't want them
sent. I have had friends tell me that they appreciate me doing it as they forget. But then, it sounds like my friends are more awesome than the complainers on here. The only issue I had with the previous system was the fact that new friends on Xbox One wouldn't
show in the list. That got fixed and now the rest went to crap.

 

Got to agree with you Sparta, messaging system has gone from good to really bad. On my laptop and this site won't even let me reply to my messages. X Box Live is showing signs of wear and tears call the fixers in.......
