after an hour of trying to connect to my router i have given up message says hardware error each time even though i have other products connected to the router such as sky box mobile printer and laptop

We are not able to connect to our network. The message is that there is a hardware problem and that we need to contact Microsoft. Any ideas where it could be coming from?

Xbox One loses Network settings during instant on mode

I've a simular issue in GTA V online.
When I turn on my console and I try to connect with online it says the Rockstar services aren't available. And sometimes when I'm in an online session I lose connection and I receive a message that there's a network error.

if the Xbox One console say there is a hardware error then it means that the console itself may have an hardware error.

Best options to try are:

- try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

If that fails then please see the steps mentioned on this support page:
https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/networking/network-connection-error-solution

Depending on the result the console may be in need of a repair, steps for that are mentioned on that same link

TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING WORKED.

DISCONNECTED EVERYTHING & LEFT IT FOR TWELVE HOURS BEFORE RECONNECTING & SWITCHING ON AGAIN. ONCE IT WAS ON IT CONNECTED STRAIGHT AWAY ( STRANGE ) MUST HAVE BEEN A GREMLING IN THE WORKS.

ALL RUNNING SMOOTHE NOW.

I am still unable to connect. When I try to play it comes up with an error message saying Try resetting your router for 30 seconds, which is completely useless and doesn't help at all, and then says that you can connect to the internet but not xbox live.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. The filters will be in the router itself. You will need to either check the manual or the manufacturer for that information. The error you are getting when it says hardware problems, does it say there is
a problem with your wireless hardware? Also, what console are you trying to connect a 360 or Xbox one?

Hey XBF Crystal P,

thanks for your help. When Im testing the wifi connection I dont get any message of an error. It directly shows me the steps to fix a hardware Problem.

I forgot to say, that the connecting worked in the past. Thats why I dont think theres a interference, couse I didnt changed anythink.

Sadly I dont have a cable to connect my router with the xbox directly.
