    so.. i just bought a game from the xbox online store. purchase was a success, money came out from my bank account etc.. it says i own it, i downloaded it.. that was all fine. and then when I go to open the game, it's asking me if i own the game. I'm a little
    confused, and 50ish dollars down.. any help on this matter would be greatly appriciated, cheers.

    I have found that whenever this happens, it "fixes itself" in a few hours.

    Try to add and remove your Xbox
    account on your Xbox One and that should help restore your game.

    Since the quarantine began, sometimes I have the same problem, and could it be a related to a large number of active users in Xbox live, sometimes the services are not available or are having troubles if that's the case you can check it in https://support-origin.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-live-status

    Try a hard reset, hold the power button for 10 seconds then press it again to reboot. If that doesn't work, remove your profile, restart then sign back in
