Message from Xbox Live not visible in Xbox One, Xbox app W10

Hey!

I purchased Gears of War Ultimate Edition and reveiced the codes for the previous Gears of War games/versions as a message to my Gamertag that was sent by Xbox Live. I think the term for that is a "Xbox Live system message". I thought that I will download those
later.

I also purchased Fallout 4 and reveceived Fallout 3, and the code for that came to me the same way: as a message to my Gamertag. I redeemed it and have played it with my Xbox One and hopefully soon can start the newest Fallout 4 after finishing the third one

In December I purchased Rainbow Six Siege and received codes for Vegas and Vegas 2, previous Rainbow Six games. I didn't redeem them right away because I was so busy with Siege (amazing game btw).

Now that I'm trying to redeem the codes that I still haven't redeemed, I can't see the message from Xbox Live in my messages. Not in my console or in the Xbox app when using Windows 10 PC or Windows 10 Mobile. The latest message is from 24th of January from
my brother and I can't se any older messages than that. I know that I haven't deleted the messages because I know they contain unredeemed codes for games.

Is there some kind of setting that Xbox will automatically hide (not delete) over month old messages? Could I see those messages again if I would receive a Xbox Live system message? Is anyone able to help me out?

As for your Gears of War codes, you never received those via Live Message. You should have, though, and I've passed your information along to the proper teams. They will investigate your eligibility for this offer and you will receive an Xbox Live message
with further details once the investigation is complete for all users.

UPDATE - Signed out and back into W10 Xbox app and I am now able to access messages

Also having this problem ever since the new dashboard went live for all.

Cannot get the virtual keyboard to appear on the xbox w10 app nor the smartglass app (Android).

Doesn't work for in game text chat, dashboard typing, or messaging.

I was having the same issue.. so i logged into the smartglass app and deleted all of my messages.. now i can use messages on xbox.com but it's still not working on the W10 Xbox App. If I click messages, the app shuts down.
