Message "Can't Download ..."

I recently decided to re-download a game on the 360 I originally activated when it was free for gold. However when I try to download it, it is added to pending downloads, sits there for a bit on 0% then a message pops up saying it "Can't Download (the game)."
This is true for re-downloading it from the store and from download history. I've even gone as far as getting on another Xbox live account re-purchasing and downloading it from there to no avail. I have cleared the cache, cleared store history, and deleted
all content from this game on the hard drive. I don't know if this is a problem with the specific game (Civilization Revolution), with my internet, or just with me. Thanks for any support on this matter.

can't download profile to another xbox

I get a message saying "can't download profiles at this time 80151011" how do I resolve this so I can download my profile to another Xbox?

Is there any additional information that pops up? Is there something else you can try to download, such as a demo, to see if that downloads? If it does, it may be due to the game no longer being free, but I can't imagine that being the case as it's in your
purchase history.

 

No, only the pop-up on the bottom of the screen shows up. I can however download the demo and other games and downloads. This specific game seems to be the problem. As to the game no longer being free I purchased it at full price on another account and it
was charged. This wouldn't be such a problem if it wasn't for the fact I have spent money on a product I can't get.

 

What location are you in and what region is your account? These would need to match in order to download a Game on Demand, otherwise it can throw up errors about being unable to download.

You can check your account info at
https://account.live.com and
https://commerce.microsoft.com. The info on both should be up to date and match each other.

 

I updated the information on the location on both my account and the account I purchased it at full price on. I allowed 12 hours for the information to update then I tried downloading it again. Unfortunately I met the same outcome of a failed download. I
checked the transaction log of the account I purchased it on and the transaction is there but I still can't download the game.

 

I've had the same problem with a game's DLC. I've tried downloading a skin (Armored Dracula) for Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 and I get the same message. I was able to download the other skins but for that particular one it won't download. It starts at
0%, goes to 1%. Then it freezes and goes back to 0% and then the window "Can't downlaod...." pops up.

 

Still having the same problem, i have waited and time hasn't fixed the problem. My xbox is usually connected via WiFi, so I moved it closer and hooked it up directly to my router and that didn't fix the problem either. I have determined there is nothing
physically I can do to download the 30$ game at my location and situation.

 

I had that exact same problem, (with the jumping from 1% to 0%) but it was for a game add-on redemption code. It seems the marketplace currently has some problems.

The region of your account if changed from the original purchasing region

Is done thru the region migration tool

Also it does not garentee that region locked content purchased in a previous region will work

 

I see what you mean, however I purchased the game in my current region. If there is no way to download the game that I purchased where I now live, that knowledge would put this matter to rest. As well what is the size of different regions? Because I only
moved a few states away. Thanks for any help!

 

When we say region we mean country

If you are on a foreign base they do not count

 

Ok, by that knowledge I never changed regions (countries), so what would affect the inability to download the game?
