Message Can Not Be Sent

Hello.


Since a few months (January exactly)
I have this
error message when i send a message (friends, recent players). I've contacted
support Xbox, and the
problem was partly
resolved by clear the caches, deleting my profile and redownload it.


But now I
still have this
error message that
begins seriously to
annoy me. What is due
this message,
how to send my
messages from my
console without having
to go on
Xbox.com everytime?!!! Because on Xbox.com i've no problems to send messages and in
6 years of
Xbox Live I
have never had
this kind of
problems before!





I hope that can
help us because
I am not
the only one unfortunately who
have this problem...

Error Message: Message Can Not Be Sent

Okay, so I've been getting this error message for the past couple of hours. My mic is broken so I had to resort to sending messages to my group to tell them my mic was broken, but I couldn't even do that. It just wouldn't send the message! I've been getting
weird things pop up when I plug my mic in to play Overwatch, but apparently it keeps telling me "Voice chat is temporarily unavailable", which, it never was unavailable? It never actually became an issue.

I can't find an article that explains my situation at all currently, but I've checked my reputation, I was in a group, I've never ever been banned or reported, but this is really starting to tick me off.

Can someone p l e a s e help me?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. What happens when you try to send a message? What is the exact error message/code you get? You can try following the steps on how to update your

security proofs to see if that helps.

Yes, but Microsoft doesn't seem to move to correct it. Five months that I have this damn problem, it's really BORING ARGH !!!!!!

Can you sign into: https://enforcement.xbox.com/ and see what that site is saying about your reputation. It will give you a breakdown of reputation and reports filed against you (as
well as by you) over the past six months.

Yeah i see that, and it's Needs work. So i must wait 6 months to send messages on my Xbox ? But no on Xbox.com ( what a joke)

And when i look Enforcement on Xbox 360 for communication, it's written this :

Accounts are issued a 1, 7, or 14 day suspension from being able to communicate on the Xbox Live service. This includes sending messages, in-game chat, and parties.

So it's not my issue...

 

If you would ask me personally. No, it doesn't make any sense. But then again, there are distinctions between these two systems, on the client side.

What did the https://enforcement.xbox.com/ site say, regarding your reputation (you'll have to sign in)?

 

The site say Needs Work (Orange) with Fair Play, Communication, User content. But i can send messages, only it's necessary that I press 15 - 20 times "Send a message" to send it without this message error "Message can not be sent"...

I have deleted my profil, clear the cache, and download my profile but it doesn't work since January and seriously it's boring...

 

I've spun this up to the Microsoft/Xbox global escalation team.

 

i have the same issue as you, i'm really hoping its unrelated to having a bad rep.

Have you been playing on the Xbox One with your profile?

How long have you been having this problem?

Can you send messages to users on your friend list?
