    Everytime i look at my messages on xbox it says that the last message that was sent was on thursday but i messaged them today, and olso its always the same message. Is there a way to fix this without having to remove my profile from the xbox?

    Try resetting the Xbox hold the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins

    I would like to add that Xbox services are currently acting strange, so give it a couple days to see if its the server issue. If not you'll have to submit a ticket to Xbox

    I encountered this bug today and I had an unread message that would not go away.

    so I clicked where it said 1 unread message and it took me to a chat (I'm pretty sure I'd already read it) and the notification went away.

    Xbox is aware of this issue and currently working on resolving this issue. I know this can frustrating but you keep yourself updated on this issue by following XboxSupport on twitter.
