merry Xmas to 7people in 7 different regions (according to twitter)

On the 24th, @xboxsupport xbox had a picture on xbox's files (onedrive) and it had codes for something that we do not know what it was. and it was only a one use code. according to some of the people on the tweet--it was gone when it was posted. My question
is what was it anyway, and why was it not a multi-use code? I mean supposedly PSN and xbox live got hacked according to news websites. and services going down I think we should have a new code pop up on twitter which is a muti-use code for everyone to use
through the end of the month. Thx!

Title Update 7 on Dec. 19th!

It is 4j confirmed it via twitter and saying merry Christmas to us was a cool surprise was very nice of them to get this out before Xmas considering all the hell they got for 1.8 taking forever

Are you sure it isn't there for example reasons?

 

I tried to reply last night, but it froze. The tweet was sent at 7:00 p.m. on 12/24 and listed 7 regions with 7 different codes. I'm not mad I didn't get it. (I don't even know what it was for.) With all the problems people have been experiencing, I think
it would be nice for everyone to get a free code good through at least the end of the month.

The codes were a gift to users that were able to get them quickly. They are one time use codes because that's what kind of codes Twitter and Major Nelson give out for giveaways. They were a surprise to all users.

If you would like to leave feedback about all users getting something, you should leave a suggestion on the
Feedback site. This would give you the best visibility for suggestions on future promotions.
