    Merging offline Xbox 360 Account to Xbox One live account


    Hello, I have an offline Xbox 360 account that has NEVER accesed Xbox live. I was wondering if there was a way to add this account and its achievments/progress to my current Xbox One live account. I am aware that you cannot merge two online accounts, however
    I have not seen anyone ask if they could merge an offline account to an online one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid that it sounds like you currently have two accounts, one offline on the xbox 360 and one Xbox Live account on the Xbox One.

    There is an option to promote your offline xbox 360 account to an Xbox Live Account, but this will require a new Microsoft Account (email address), but the next issue would be that it is Not possible to merge multiple accounts into one Xbox Live Account.

    So basically there are two options, continue with the current Xbox Live Account that you have on the Xbox One, or to promote the 360 account to an Xbox Live Account and download that to the Xbox One and continue with that one.

    I'm afraid it's not possible, you can create an online account using the offline account on your Xbox 360, but you cannot merge an offline account to an online account that is already created.

    Unfortunately there is no way to merge gamertags together.



    You could convert the offline account into an Xbox LIVE account and use that one instead if you wanted to.

    As far as I know, there is no way to merge an offline account with a online account.

    However you can "Join Xbox Live" with your offline account.

    Can I connect my Xbox Live Account with my Avatar on my Xbox without losing progress?

    The avatar is connected to an offline account you used on the 360. You would need to join Live with that account. Since you created a Microsoft account, it would already have an Xbox account connected to it and you cannot transfer or merge anything with that new account.
