Discus and support Merging of Profiles in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Ola everyone, I used to have an account while living in the UK.     Merging of Profiles


    Ola everyone,

    I used to have an account while living in the UK. I have since moved back to SA but had to start a new profile as I could not remember the email address and password used with my UK account.

    I still have the old profile stored on my new Xbox 360 as I transferred it from the old one.

    Is there any way of merging the two? I have 2700 gamer points on there I'd like to have added to my new profile.

    Hi, I have had an xbox 360 for a while now and have only just got it online so I have a gamer profile which has lots of gamer points and unlocks on it and a brand new xbox live account with nothing. Can I merge the two of them or is it possible to turn my
    gamer profile into an xbox live profile?

    Hello.

    Sorry no, it is not possible for Gamertags to be merged together. As for your old account, it may still be possible for it to be retrieved by Xbox Live Support, even if you do not remember the email address. You would need to call them for this to be looked
    into. But there is no way to merge two accounts together I'm afraid.

    Sorry, but you cannot merge two profiles together. You have already created an online profile. You cannot add or merge an offline profile to it.

    From the Xbox Dashboard, I think you can either download the Zune app, or if it's installed already, perhaps you can log into that to listen to your music? Sorry, haven't used Zune before.

    Do you mention combining your profiles, that is, they are different emails and what you want is to use them on the same xbox? because combining accounts cannot

    I didn't know that. I just did it using my computer. Nothing prompted or told me to do it through my xbox when I was doing the purchase.
