Merging Microsoft Accounts for Xbox One

I've read that it is not possible, however I severely messed up my accounts. Yesterday I switched from my old email to my newer google one, and my GT and info transferred fine. But now I cannot change my GT, cannot download anything from the store, cannot
use the game codes that came with my console.. It's basically a big paperweight at this point. I have tried to switch everything back to my old email but it will not work. The only solution I can think of is to merge the accounts, though it's not able to.
And yes, I've tried doing it via xbox 360, and that does not work either. I don't know what else to do. Please help! This is ridiculous!

Merging accounts still is not possible, so that information is correct, but the steps you need to take are provided here:

Transition from XBOX rewards account to a suspended Microsoft rewards account

I have been a loyal microsoft and Xbox customer for years with an active xbox gold membership for almost 2 years now.

A few years ago my Microsoft Rewards account was suspended.

Now that XBOX rewards account is migrating/merging with Microsoft Rewards account, I am loosing access to the rewards program.

Is there a way to restore my Microsoft rewards account in good faith so that I can continue enjoying my XBOX experience?
