    Merge Xbox accounts


    Hello,

    About 3 years ago, I had an Xbox 360. I (obviously) created an xbox live account for it, used it, earned G-points, etc. I eventually sold my Xbox (my attention was needed elsewhere), and I forgot my password and username of my previous account. Last year
    I bought an Xbox One, and created a new account.

    My question: is it possible to merge those 2 accounts, assuming I have the password and username? I don't just want the G-points back, I want my account name back too Merge Xbox accounts :)

    If you create a new account, yes. If you currently have an Xbox Live account you would like to use you will not be able to merge them when you go online in the future.

    Sadly you cannot merge Xbox Accounts the closest thing available to account merging is making the other account your home.

    No. Unfortunately accounts cannot be merged and nothing is transferrable between accounts

    it is 2023 almost 2024 and we still cant move a xbox live account to a different Microsoft account.

    they merged it all in the when Xbox one came out, you used to be able to change the Microsoft account associated with the Xbox account but this has been merged for over 10 years now.
