    I have a 360

    Why does it says

    game couldnt start.

    try downloading again.

    is it only for Xbox one?

    Mercenaries is an original Xbox Game.

    I'm not sure if you can play it on the 360 in a digital Form I have never tried.

    Do you have an Xbox hard drive on the console? In order for backwarss compatibility to work on the 360, it requires an official MS Xbox hard drive.
