    my son has been using my old 360 but now has his own Xbox 1 and wants his save files. Is there a way to transfer game saves from 360 to Xbox 1 without buying a gold membership to get the cloud? I have gold but can't transfer his saves because they are on
    his profile. If there is not a way can you give me a one time use code for a day just so I can transfer his saves? Also when he is old enough can he share my gold service since he is on other console so we can play together or is it one required per console?

    He would have to have a gold subscription on the 360 in order to use the cloud. There's no way around that and codes are not given via the forums.

    When you do want to share gold on the One, you would just need to set his console as your Home console. He would be able to access your gold subscription as well as any games on your account.

    You may want to check inside your game boxes, a lot of them come with short Gold trials.

    [/quote]He wants the saves on the USB while he gets a new consoles. In that case he would move the saves from his hard drive and not copy them, I've yet to encounter a save in the games I've played that an not be moved.

    Even if that were the case for a title there is a way in the dashboard around that. You can transfer the saves to USB by using the transfer software in the dashboard in the same way as you would do so between hard drives.

    Use it for back up. So you have a copy on both cloud and your system. That's how I use it on PS+

    If you are using IE8/9 turn compatibility view settings on OP.

    If you buy a flash drive at a retail outlet then it will be USB 2.0. Just be aware that the console will only read up to 16gb so if you buy a larger drive than that the rest of the space would be wasted.
