Go to memory and delete the corrupted profile (profile only) then try the recovery tool.

You could try a file recovery program, I don't believe Xbox Zeros the disk, but Flash memory is a lot harder to recover than something like a hard drive.

    Try something from here:

    There are no guarantees though.

    Hey there, NourishedEel66!

I'm sorry to see any issues with your content! You can redownload your purchased content through the

    Download History
on the Xbox 360 if it was purchased on this account. As for the level in Modern Warfare 3, that sounds like an in-game reset, and we would not be able to assist with that. I suggest
reaching out to Activision to ensure there was no profile reset on their end. As far as we are aware, it wouldn't be linked to any game saves, but you can check your Modern Warfare 3 folder on the
hard drive to see if the game save isn't there anymore. That might affect your level in-game if it's not there anymore. If it wasn't saved on the cloud, then we wouldn't be able to help you recover that.

It sounds like the hard drive itself might be failing, though. Especially if you aren't sure who might have jumped on the console to delete things. Let me know if you run into issues downloading your content so that we can troubleshoot that. Memory recovery :)

    Profile Deletion and Recovery Failure

I can not help with you getting your rank back but here is something to try regarding recovery.

Go into memory> profiles and check to see if there is a partial file. (It should be checked with an exclamation mark), delete it.

Only the profile NOT the items.

    Then clear your cache.(optional).

Restart your console then attempt recovery again.

Its likely you have tried this already though!.

    sss

You will need to change the family settings because it is not stored in the memory it is stored in the Xbox it's self if you do not remember the recovery password or the 4 digit pass code you will need to contact Xbox support and they will help you reset
    the console.
