Memberships owned, issues downloading gold games & ea free play

I have gold and an ea pass and have had issues over the last month downloading the games for gold, as well as , the ea beta and first to play pregames. The current one being the new mass effect. When I click on the free option it goes to the buy a membership
or put in a code screen. I'm super unimpressed as this issue has lasted for a few weeks. It's beyond a matter of just wait and it will happen.

It's also not my net, I have super fast internet. And the Xbox is n a wired connection.

I also share my xbox with another user who has the year of gold and he's having the same issue. Thanks

Was this a Brand New Console or a Pre-Owned? If it's a Pre-Owned the previous owner would of used them up. You only get three 1 Month free Gold Memberships Trials per Console.

EA Access

Not talking about if you had a regular membership. Am trying to download for the free week of play but i don't see a link that says to download without joining EA Access

Odd that you're having trouble with downloading titles! Are you only seeing issues with Mass Effect or is this across all EA Access games?

you probably downloaded it from the ea access app. With that app it, if you buy a membership of 4.99 a month or 30 bucks for a year. you get all the ea sports games for free essentially if you have the 4.99 membership. This passed week they had a promotion
to all gold members which allowed you to download 8 ea games for free this week only. I know this because i did the same thing and when i woke up last night the same error message popped up for me as did for you saying i didnt own the game. I hope this helps.

I was replying to Cranskie who was silver when this thread post was posted. having silver membership(free) and you have downloaded games from the games with gold offer they willn't be able to be played, until you have re-activated your gold membership.

this error 0x803f800b is EA access subscription is now expired error message and to play the game you will need to re-active the EA access or buy the game via the store or from a trusted retailer to remain playing the game.

note: so do you have the problem? has your EA access run out etc. knowing what has expired, would help us greatly with resolving your issue.

now the person who made this thread has not replied back, told me if the games were downloaded when he/she had gold.

free gold weekends just let you play online for free you still need to have gold to download stuff that requires a gold membership like the free games for gold members.

There were some EA free play days. You were granted free days to play the game. Similar to when Rocket League allowed you to download the game and play for a weekend I believe it was?

You will either need to purchase a membership for $5.00 a month, EA Access or the game.
