I think the card is a one year to use from activation, code.

You can redeem the card now though as you may stack up too 3 years onto one profile. Except with trial memberships which do not stack at all.

You should be able to just redeem another code for X amount of months for EA access or use a creditcard to lengthen your membership. EA access can stack membership up to 3 years
