Member content settings

Looks like parental controls... Or profile restriction controls. One of the privacy or content settings attached to that specific gamertag prevented you from playing. You can review and modify your settings in the account settings section of your console.
If you are on a shared or family console, you may need to have permissions set by the primary account... This pic alone doesn't give enough information to tell you specifically what setting to change.

Member Content



Decide whether to see member-created content on Xbox LIVE. Member content includes images, text, and custom content in games and profiles, which you may find inappropriate. This setting doesn't prevent download of indie games.

none of this is helpful because xbox has changed the layout of everything

Hey, I found this elsewhere and it worked for me.

1. From the Xbox Dash, press right until you get to "Settings".

2. On the "Settings" page, go to "Privacy" and press "A".

3. "Change Settings" should already be highlighted. Press "A" again.

4. Go up to where "Customize" is highlighted and press "A".

5. Scroll down to the "Content" heading and select "Member Content".

6. Select "Everyone" and press "A".

7. Press "B". Then select "Save and Exit".

Does your son have a Xbox LIVE Gold membership (paid membership)? I know that this is a requirement to play all multiplayer games on Xbox LIVE.
