Megalodon finally found on BF4

I might buy this...never really played BF games. Although I read it looks and plays a lot better on PS4 than it does on xboxone.

But if the difference is only 900p@60fps on PS4 and 720p@60fps on xboxone how can there be much of a difference? Although I gather ONE of the consoles has pretty bad frame rate drops...

 

Wow! People were actually shooting at it? Has it been confirmed that this can be killed? Like the dragons from Titanfall? That would be pretty awesome. Thanks for the added info guys, I love little things like this that devs throw in.

From what I have read on the Official BF forums, the PS4 version is suffering from lag and rubberbanding a bit worse than the XB1 version.

So if you start hunting it now, you just might see it next year...

Either way, the game isn't perfect, but when it does work it really is a whole lot of fun.

 

If you have not read Steve Alten's "Meg: A Novel Of Deep Terror" you need to stop what you're doing and obtain a copy.

This is a perfect example of what people mean when they say something is "So bad it's good".

There have been many spin offs since the first one but this is the cult classic that spawned the legend.

It's a lag thing.... when you're running along and it lags and you end up back where you were a second or so before... like you're attached to a bungie cord or "rubber band"....

See this is why I hate googling over taking everyones advice here. Google gives you a bunch of different answers lol.

 

Although, to be honest "rubber banding" does also refer to the practice of putting rubber bands on a controller to keep it active for cheating at getting time based achievements...

It also refers to how in some racing games AI cars you've over-taken and left miles back magically catch up with you.

 

I couldn't ever dream of playing with a rubber band on my controller. Though it does make me ponder the thoughts of whether it actually helps at all :/

AI Cars catching up makes more sense to me. They do that to me a lot lol

 

rubberbanding has been horrific on the naval strike maps which is such a shame as they are some of the best dlc maps in a long time in my opinion.

How can you tell if someone is rubber banding any how? Is it obvious?

 

Imagine running on the end of a long bungee cord then getting snapped back to where you started! You would definitely notice wouldn't you!

 

I think I am mixing up the rubber banding with the other controller rubber banding lol. That I would certainly notice Genchy bud, I was wondering about the band around the controller method. Sorry for the confusion there.
