Any Mega Man X fans want Capcom to make a SNES-style X9?

Mega Man 9 and 10 are great and all, and I really dig the retro 8-bit style. However, I grew up playing Mega Man X, not the original Mega Man series, so X is a more beloved series to me. It had some missteps after X5, but I know one thing that could redeem it for me: X9, SNES-style. I'd be fine with the PS1 style as well, but I'd prefer that it goes back to square one like Mega Man 9 and 10 did. I understand that Mega Man Zero and ZX are the successors to the X series, but they could do something I'm sure. Even if it were a spinoff, I just want another SNES-style Mega Man X for XBLA/PSN/VC, and I hope I'm not alone on that.

If there's no reason that Capcom would give us this, I'd at least like an XBLA port of Mega Man X.

Inafune Kickstarts spiritual successor to Mega Man, No. 9

For all of you who wanted Capcom to do Mega Man justice with a brand new HD style game, prepare to have your prayers answered by the big mega gaming man himself, Keiji Inafune, with some help by his company comcept, Inti Creates, and a whole mess of other former Mega Man devs. It's called Mighty No. 9, and it literally looks like a true Mega Man game from top to bottom.

The protagonist is named Beck, and he's the ninth robot in a line of ones [eight robot masters] who were infected by a virus [Mavericks]. He'll run through six stages [Mega Man 1], and copy abilities from his fallen foes with support from his female friend [Roll], as he fights various lesser enemies throughout the landscape, one of which is themed after a construction object [Metools]. Reading through the Kickstarter, fans of the Blue Bomber will spot even more references, which has me even more giddy to see it in action.

Right now the game is slated for the PC platform (with gamepad support) by way of Steam and a few other avenues, but stretch goals include Mac, Linux, and consoles.

It's not coming to consoles unless they reach $2.5million, though, so let's at least throw a buck their way and make this happen.

Like Smwutches said, you can't use gift cards on to buy backwards compatible games. Only credit, debit or pay pal. The only way you can buy mega man 9 on pc without a credit card would be to buy mega man legacy collection 2. It has mega man 7-10 and
also has all the dlc for mega man 9 and 10.

In order to use the funds from your account for that purchase, the purchase would have to be made on a 360 console. The One/website do not see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for backwards compatible content.
