    After trying to send a message to a friend,my xbox showed me a text telling me that it isnt able to send it.Although I opened the link,(Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App?) and followed all the instructions,I still cant send
    any text.Please reply,any useful advices would be useful to my problem.

    Console connects to internet but can't contact Xbox LIVE

    It is a known issue with Mediacom at the moment. Just hang in there and maybe check mediacoms forums for help.. you could also try contacting mediacom support.

    These kind of issues are temporary so dont worry about it.

    Problems with internet

    when i connect my computer to the internet it dosen't have any problems but as soon as i try to connect to my xbox my modem doesnt even put up the internet light..i have mediacom..ethernet..and my xbox can connect to the network but for some weird reason
    my modem cant connect to the internet. HELP ME!!!

    Really high latency on wired connection on xbox one.

    the problem with stuff like this... never know if it's an Xbox issue, or if Mediacom and others are just totally unreliable ISPs. One will tell you it's the other.

    LIVE connection error - ongoing for the past 3 hours

    I am also in Iowa (Iowa City) using mediacom and cannot connect to the xbox live servers. A tech at mediacom told me that they were having an issue with packet loss in the data transfer process and so their servers were unable to sustain a connection to
    the xbox live servers. Other websites appear to function ok though. It is mediacom that has the problem, not microsoft..

    So Mediacom customers buckle up for disappointment. I myself have had this same issue with game since beginning and I'm a mediacom customer. I called them 100 times. Finally I got an American , I could tell. They spent hours with me troubleshooting. I
    got bumped up few support levels. Finally , I had a supervisor tell me, " We know about this. There is no fix for it. We dont anticipate there being a fix for it anytime soon. " they said Rockstars servers are using some type of connection type that mediacoms
    gateway company doesn't support . Some PS4 players can get on, but majority of rest cant. They wont be changing companies for just one game. I didnt believe it. I blasted them on fb. They contacted me. After hours again, finally admitted it again. They said
    until rockstar optimizes their servers to better work with traditional connections it just wont happen.
