    Media streaming issues....


    Until recently I have been able to play media from a 64gb flash drive and stream from PC. As of late the Xbox will not even see my flash drive - although two 8gb drives both were recognized. The 64gb drive is also recognized fine by my Win10 pc. When I try
    to stream from my PC the Xbox finds my PC no problem but it says "No files found". I am on the latest preview update and as stated this is only recent that this started to not function correctly but I did not see anything in the release notes about losing
    functionality in either of these areas. Is this a fixable issue or something that a future update will (hopefully) fix?

    The windows 8 app has had some problems recently and they are aware of it and trying to resolve the issues. Give it some time and the bugs should be worked out. If it still is giving you problems in a day or so try posting back with more specifics and we
    can go from there.

    Still issues and no update...unless it was a secret update that no-one knows about...

    About these specifics, we are both running the same os (Windows 8 64bit) both laptops are identical in specs and the Elite has the most recent dashboard...

    Just out of curiosity, how many machines can you have connected to the xbox to stream?

    Hey there hapticyo!

    I'm sorry to hear about the troubles streaming content. Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

    1. To start things off, can you give us a better idea of your setup?
    2. How do you have everything hooked up?
    3. Where exactly are you trying to stream media from?

    I could be reading this wrong, but it looks like you're trying to stream media from PS3MediaServer? If you are, that might be part of the issue. Are you able to use something like

    Windows Media Center     to stream the media and see if that yields better results?

    Hey there, I can't really help your issue but confirm that the Xbox One doesn't have the same media center extender abilities the Xbox 360 did nor the same media streaming, at the moment.
