    Media Streaming help!!!!

Currently running a windows 10 machine with 2 internal drives. My secondary drive will be used to store all my media. I have joined my machine to the homegroup, shared all files, folders, and drives. I see the xbox one on the PC and can even play remotely.
I see the computer on my xbox one using Media Player. I cannot access my files or see the secondary drive. The only way I can access my videos or media files is if they are collected on the primary on the default folder locations. Can anyone give some insite
on what I need to setup or adjust?

    :)

  2. Streaming Media to Xbox One

Hey there, I can't really help your issue but confirm that the Xbox One doesn't have the same media center extender abilities the Xbox 360 did nor the same media streaming, at the moment.

So do i and streaming works fine.

I had to allow streaming to xbox one in windows media player then leave windows media player and the media player app on x1 running for a few minutes before it started working.

  4. Media Streaming help!!!!

    Open Windows Media Player.

Near the top, find Organize -> Manage Libraries -> Video/Music/Pictures/etc.

In each one you need to add the location(s) where you store media (i.e. folders on your secondary drive).

Under the Stream menu find the option to allow streaming to devices. Maybe under "More streaming options?"

You'll see the xbox one hopefully and it should be allowed as a streaming device.

It sounds like it already sees your PC so hopefully just setting up the libraries will solve your problem.

Question about streaming music from my computer..

    Hi there Non!

    .

So to stream from XP to your 360, follow the instructions in this article.
    windows.microsoft.com/.../stream-xbox

    .

Note that it calls for Media Player 11. If you look at the top of that page, there is a link to download Media Player 11.

    .

    Hope that help!

    Hello Twobnvd1984,

Have you set up the Zune software to stream to your Xbox 360? You can find the steps on our page

Stream media using Zune or Windows Media Player
    .

On that page it will give you steps to stream from Zune to the Xbox 360 System Music Player.

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks
