Media Server unreliable since latest update.

Until the recent update, I used Media Player to connect to my laptop to watch videos flawlessly.

Now it's just a matter of luck whether it recognises it at all or if it tells me there's no devices. Even then, it can disconnect while playing, trying to tell me the network connection has been cut, despite the Xbox clearly still being connected to the
router which was definitely working as I was browsing the web on my phone only a few feet away.

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

October update

Anyone tried streaming a movie over DLNA since the latest update? I have a GB wired connection to my media server but movie playback seems to have a slight stutter/delay between picture and audio. Just enough jitter to be really annoying. Music playback
is working great, so glad to have this added! Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with movie/video playback?

Media Player Not showing MKV files.

I can see every other media format on my computer Media Server except MKV's.

I thought the new update was going to allow MKV files to play?

Try doing a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test for results.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the servers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 were still operational on Xbox 360. However, it's possible that the servers may have been shut down since then. It's always best to check with the game's official website or social media channels for the latest information on server status.

I have the preview update and the game works fine.

The problem is the fact the game uses EA servers.

EAs servers are renowned for being unreliable.

Its a pity the game doesnt have the option to use the Azure servers instead.

Similar problem; I have a hard drive enclosure with two drives RAIDed for media and one formatted for games; since the latest update the games drive mounts fine but the media drive is invisible. Tried all ports, different cables, power cycled everything: no change. The media drive mounts absolutely fine on all my other devices, it's just the XBox One that doesn't recognise it
