  1. Media Remote Missing Button Presses

    Hello,

I have the Xbox One media remote and sometimes when I am clicking around on the dashboard or in oneguide, the remote will miss some button presses and I will have to press again to get it to recognize the button press.

I am not having any issues at all with my regular controllers and it is my understanding that the media remote IR instead of a wireless connection like the regular controllers. I have a clear unobstructed line of sight to my console so I am not sure why
    it is missing button presses.

Where exactly is the IR sensor located on the xbox console? Is there any troubleshooting I can do or should I try to get the remote replaced?

    Thanks

    :)
