Media Remote menu button not working in Bluray app

I have just been in contact with Technical Support about this but they weren't sure what the problem was. The Menu button on the media remote is working fine everywhere other than the Blu-ray player app. And so to get to the disc menu I still have to use
my game controller.......Does anyone know if MS are actually aware of this issue, and if so are they going to fix it in the near future.

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.

Blu ray app Media Remote menu button

The Media Remote menu and view buttons still don't work in the latest blu ray app. The remote buttons work in other apps like Netflix so it appears to not be a hardware problem.

I hope there's a new update for the media remote for better functionality of the bluray player, menu buttons work perfectly if using the xbox controller, but using the remote hitting play/pause twice just to bring up the menu and selecting scene or main
menu., plus no quick way to get rid of the menu feedback unless using a controller. While movie is playing. Disappointed so far in M$

Hi.

When you are using an app and want to get back to the Xbox home screen with the media remote, tap the Power On/Home button (the big "Xbox" button at the top) to reveal the guide and select "Home."

If you wish to completely close an app, press the Power On/Home button to access the guide, navigate the guide to highlight the app you wish to close, tap the Menu (hamburger) button, and navigate to "Quit" on the context menu.

Everything on my Harmony One works great with the exception of the remote not being able to use the VIEW and MENU commands in the Bluray app.

As you mentioned before Captain, the commands on the Harmony work fine everywhere else except for the Bluray side of things. Hope a fix comes soon.
