Media Remote for Xbox One

Im stoked ill finally be able to combine my tv remote, xbox controller, and soundbar remote into an all in one remote now

Very tempted to get this but I'm not 100% sure. Can anybody tell me how it performs with a Samsung TV, particularly the navigation and EPG controls if they're existent.

_^^ If your Kinect is able to control your TV, then the answer is yes. The remote controls all devices via the Kinect.

Dynamic I'll let you know Monday when it arrives since I have a Samsung TV and Vizio sounbar attached to my Xbox One.I dont think the remote will have any direct influence to the TV's features such as menu navigation. It will only turn on the Xbox, and the
TV respectively if its set up like that. Basically you will only have control over Xbox navigation

It's an OK remote. I find myself pressing the buttons firmly.

Just bought this today from Gamestop, I usually make out fine using the Kinect controls but I just recently hooked my cable box up to my system so I wanted something a little more practical.

Feels very nice to use, it's nice and slim and light, and the backlight is really convenient.

For what it's worth I believe this does NOT control your TV menu or anything like that, this is strictly for the Xbox One and it's apps/TV Overlay. Have a Samsung Smart TV and this doesn't have the buttons to access anything on it, not that I mind because
I'm only using it with my Xbox One anyway just something to keep in mind.

No, not in the way I need. The Kinect does push IR signal to other devices, but it wont accept a signal from the remote to push to the One. I thought it was at first too, but it is not according to Microsofts XBOX One Media Remote Page. See the "Using

Yes, the
Xbox One Media remote will work with an Xbox One X. I use mine regularly.

Unfortunately the Xbox 360 remote is not compatible with the Xbox One and at the moment the Microsoft are not planning to change this.

Microsoft may redesign and release the Xbox One media remote similar to how they did with the Xbox 360 remote in the future but this is just speculation however I believe there are some 3rd party remotes that maybe have the use of a number pad to change
channel such as Logitech Harmony remote range. I believe the control is designed like this to possible make people use the Kinect features more.
