Media Player Zooming In On Images

Hi,

I've noticed that when I'm using the media player app to view my pictures on my external HDD. The pictures are all zoomed in so I'm unable to see the image as it was taken. Is there a reason behind this? Pictures were taken on an iPhone 5 and can all be
viewed in the correct size on my phone and also my PC. Should they be in a specicifc format?

Halo 4 Waypoint Terminal Codes

Here a link to the Halo 4 Waypoint Terminal Codes. Someone was nice enough to make it into a nice image for peeps to use. If it's hard to see, you should be able to click on the image to zoom in. Or right click and 'save image as' to save it to your hard drive for reference.

 

Media Player images not displaying properly

The Media Player app is not displaying most of my images properly.

First of all, vertical images are zoomed in by default and there is no way to zoom out or even pan, to display the whole picture.

Second of all, horizontal pictures are cropped on the sides, and black bars are displaying instead (the pictures are 16:9 but it doesn't display the whole picture). Zooming and panning are working properly, but still there is no way of displaying the whole
picture at all.

This issue is especially annoying since one of the main purposes is to play all kind of media with this app but this is completely ruining the experience. If I want to gather some people around TV and show them some pictures it basically doesn't make sense.

Can somebody help?
