Media Player with Watch History ?

It sounds like your movies are bought and streamed on the iTunes program. Xbox does not support that app unless you're using an app like Vudu, netflix, hulu, CBS all access, or any other kind of streaming app, which in that case will sync across devices
- just make sure you're logged into the same account.

If you're talking about local movies as in converted MP4 or MKV video files, no, the Xbox one does not support the iTunes program or keeping a history of completed movies or a history of where you paused the movie that syncs across devices. Although you
could find an app that could do that, but I have no recommendations of apps that have that ability.

Hopefully that's a good answer to your question, as it is sort-of confusing.

The option isn't there for dual-track support in .avi files in Windows, Media Centre or Media Player either, or if it is then I've never managed to find it.

I'm afraid your only options are to turn the files into a DVD where the 360 will be able to switch between audio tracks or watch on your PC using a program like VLC Media Player.

Media player doesnt recognize my 2Tb usb3 since this horrendous update! pc and 360 does. Cant play my media files. its ms dos fat32, i keep my 360 games on it, but used to enjoy watching my media. The xone will recognize a usb2 stick, but not my usb3!

That's why, you follow the steps I mentioned about turning Media Streaming on in Windows 7 via WMP & it shows the Xbox360 extender... You NEED Media Streaming turned on @ low-level OS coding & Windows Media Player is a part of Windows Media Center too Maestro....
