Media Player will not play music from my PC

Discus and support Media Player will not play music from my PC in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I can search through all of my music and different artists, but when I go to play a song it will not work.     Media Player will not play music from my PC


    I can search through all of my music and different artists, but when I go to play a song it will not work.

    Error code 0xc1010107 (0xc00d36c3)

    Streaming problem with Xbox S

    Hi,

    on my local PC i use my music with windows media player. It would be cool to stream this music library to my Xbox. My Xbox S is in the same network including same gateway etc.

    I'm sure the local pc admitted permissions to use and stream the local library (settings made in local media player).

    When i'm opening media player on the X box i can see the music library from my pc but the x box can not find music (folder is empty message).

    Where is my fault, i don't understand why the x box can see the library on the pc but does not play any music.

    Can you help me ?

    Is there anyway to play music from one drive on xbox one?

    I stream music from my home PC using the media player app. Im not sure if it can stream from one drive however

    Hey there, HittingWalrus44! I'm very sorry to see about the issues with the Media Player! This thread is a little old. If you could, please post up a new thread detailing what you're running into, any error codes you may be receiving, and troubleshooting
    you've completed. This way our community can get us the individual support that works best on the forums. Media Player will not play music from my PC :)

    XBOX ONE Media Player no longer finds music on network

    Corrected when trying to stream music on my XBOX One from my PC using media player app, I do this because playlists are also playable, the music files are no longer found. Video files and picture files are still able to be streamed. I am wondering since
    the add of music to onedrive and xbox music did they remove the ability to stream music with media player. on another note the media player on the One is awful compared the players on the 360.

    Hi! Where are you playing music? In Zune or from the Media Player? Is the music located on the hard drive, CD, USB Flash Drive, or on your PC? What type of music files are you trying to play? :)

    I am fine with no Media Center Extender, but the question is, will I still be able to play videos and music that are on my PC with the ONE. using the system video player and music player?

    Does your xbox even detect your PC?

    If it does detect the PC but not the music then you have to make sure the music folder on your PC is being watched by windows media player.

    Open windows media plays, click organise then manage libraries then music. Then make sure the music folder is listed. After adding it you need to wait a while with media playing running for music to be available for streaming

    Xbox Video and Xbox Music watch the Collections for your Music and videos from your Media Windows PC. Or you can open Windows Media Player RT click a playlist or file and hit Play to then the device works. You want to play to the XboxOne Device
