Discus and support Media Player Preview in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; A good start but anything with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital +, Dolby True HD, DTS, DTS HD Master Audio shows video and no Audio.     Media Player Preview


    A good start but anything with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital +, Dolby True HD, DTS, DTS HD Master Audio shows video and no Audio. So in short no videos with decent audio will play at the moment. There is mention of eventual Matroska support which will eventually
    make the player moderately useful for some people perhaps but no mention of x265 (HEVC) yet. Limitations are not surprising for a preview app I guess, especially considering how even the Blu Ray player is a poor substitute for any standalone player on the
    market at the moment.

    Media Player (preview)

    Tried my portable hard drive last night running the ntfs file system and it worked so it isn't completely limited to flash memory or fat32. The hard drive is a Western digital 500 gig with 3.0 usb. It asked if I wanted to format it for games and apps use
    but I just cancelled the prompt.

    Ill give it a whirl on Friday. Apparently it must be a Fat32 or NTCF nFormat for X1 to read it.

    Same thing is happening to me. Will play about 10 seconds of a song and then I get the same message. Also says it cant find usb when my mp3 player is plugged in.

    It's great to have this Xbox Live Feature from Xbox 360 brought over to Xbox 1. I usually can just put pics and short videos from my PC to USB and play them on Xbox 360. You can also use this very method to add pictures to your Xbox 360 Dashboard. Just put
    pics from your PC to your USB, plug it in, and select it as your wanted Dash background. I hope they bring change Dash background and Voice Messages soon there is quite a lot of demand for it. Congrats on bringing this feature to Xbox 1 M.
