    Media player not recognising usb xbox one


    media player is not recognising my usb device on my xbox one. It was formatted to fat 32 at first but I have changed this to NTFS but it is still not recognised. Any suggestions?

    xbox one media player and vista

    i am trying to stream a video from my windows vista pc to my xbox one. Is this possible? The media player is recognising my pc but not showing any files to stream. Do i need to set anything up on the pc?

    can anyone help? USB stick formatted to NTFS with mov and avi files - Why won't the media player recognise the files? My mac does, the Lg tv does??

    I have the same problem, using a usb stick to play movies on xbox one. used to work no problems until one day decided to not recognise it at all in the media player app. no settings have been altered just gave up all by itself. have been all over the internet
    with no success so any help would be appreciated

    I followed the guide on that link but it didn't help my problem the device is recognised it's on the list but when I go into media player or even pick it from the list in settings it comes up no device recognised in media player

    It’s various drives, I can’t get the xbox to read media from any of them. They range from about 2 months through to about 2 years, but the media players don’t recognise any media on any of them.

    You can try to drag your itunes playlists onto a usb, and then plug the usb into the Xbox One and use the media player app to play it
