media player not on store

Sorry to hear about the Media Player issue, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. This issue has been bubbled up to the proper teams to investigate and we will update this thread when we have more information to provide. Thank you

Just experienced the same problem ...no fix as of yet. Everything else seems to work, but my XBox One is a bluray brick.

 

So basicly Mister Quimby your saying microsoft dev team has no idea on what the problem is. Thats pathetic, i paid top $ for a console thats riddled with faults. Awsome

 

Same problem..uninstalled a..no app to install

 

C'mon guys. Reporting a bug is one thing. Helping it solve is even better. But telling that these guys are idiots(SpacedDuck) or that they should be fired (LordJebuz) is way out of line . It is a few hours from the first post here and they have already confirmed
they are working on it. What do you expect?

There will always be bugs no matter how hard you try. What is important is to acknowledge them quickly and try to fix it quickly too. And that is what I believe these guys are doing right now.

 

So why make us pay $600+ for the xbox one, the stupid thing about that is, in another year or 2 all the problems will be fixed and a new console will be $200-$300 cheaper. It makes no sense.

 

Same Problem in Australia, XBox Video app and media player app dont work and are not in the store.

 

Out of line,ha.

Its seems to be the only thing I do lately is chk service status.

Also I have had so many support tickets solved,I'm kinda disgusted,and impatient.

Sometimes you gotta yell to be heard,I'm sorry but I just wanted someone to address this.

I'm not completely unthankful.

Seems to be back in the marketplace and works without problems. Didn't notice any updates to it though.

And we still havent been notified that its working, great job microsoft. Xbox one should users should get free xbox live gold until everything has been fixed !

I'm having the issue also. Media player app not working, deleted and unable to reinstall... Super *** about this one...

 

I've got the problem with the Blu-ray app. Had disc read errors after trying to watch a disc that we had watched 2 hours earlier and had left in the Xbox One. Uninstalled the Blu-ray app and now I get the "Content isn't available"message from the online
store. Fun one year XBO anniversary present... shouldn't expect anything less with the fiasco I went through from day one through month two last year.
