Media Player is laggy / stuttering since Win 10 updates playing h264 @1080p60

Over one year my Xbox One works fine, playing my h264 videos from USB HDD. Since Win 10, the Media Player is laggy, playback is horrible. My videofiles are fully h264 compatible, the stream is 1080p60 @ 50mbps. All my other devices are playing my Videos
    without any problems.

The app is definitely buggy and / or there are codec problems in the system. Anyone knows more about? Is Microsoft reading here? Bugfix is needed.

    :)

    Player Unknowns BattleGrounds

War mode is one laggy mess! Had a go and it was dreadful, watching people stutter as they parachute in, shots not registering on a player who is clearly standing still and the sound lag also.

Played a mini royale and that was vetter, but still find it trixky. Got 3 kills before a nade took me out, still not one single win on this game

problems streaming music content from windows platform 8 pc, movies and pics stream fine, but with unreasonable delays.

How are you attempting to stream the media? Media Center is working fine. There IS an issue with the built-in Xbox music player since the last update where things aren't connecting properly. It affects Win 7 and 8 (including the Zune software) to varying
    degrees.

    XBMC on Xbox One?

that thread is pretty flawed. winp8 is an incredibly closed system yet there are tons of apps that are competitors to ms services. there are apps for media streaming which are in direction competition to xbox music app.

    -

the next problem is supposedly every x1 will be usable as a dev kit, which should allow the use of unsigned software even if ms decides to block xbmc.

    -

xbmc only competes with other media players, it doesnt stream online media or allow you to buy media like xbox music so it isnt in compeitiont with those services and apps. obviously ms isnt going to block media players, they are going to allow other media
players. so this isnt an issue, especially since they allow competitors apps already.

    -

xbmc does support mkv and h264 playback. this is in conflict of ms codec and containers plus their partners look down it as a pirate format. the problem with this argument is x360 already supports mkv via wmc and h264 is used in blu ray so they have to support
    h264.

    -

what it comes down to, are any of the xbmc developers willing to put in the time to meet the general requirements ms will have to publish apps through the x1 app store. that is the biggest hurdle.

    -

i think it will happen, but people are waiting to see what ms does first. it may not be necessary. obviously a kinect powered xbmc is going to be amazing so we will see something like it in due time.

Media Player green screen when playing 4K videos

Got the same Problem with Media Player and VLC

I tried a lot of Codecs an Formats but nothing works.

    h265 with 35,25 and 15 Mbits 3840x2160 (50p)

    h264 with 35,25 and 15 Mbits 3840x2160 (50p)

Played from USB AND internal Drive...

The weird thing is that the h265 15 Mbits 3840x2160 (50p) works. i rendered a 10 seconds snippet of the movie in that format and the VLC App AND the Media Player played it. then, if i rendered the whole movie in this format (film duratio about 5 Min) got
    the same Problem.

VLC just showed Black screen with audio / Media Play Green Screen with audio. The Support just says "its no Computer" and "the Xbox one s is no Computer...it wont works"

(My Console: X Box One s)

Endoder Software: Adobe Media Encoder cc 2017

Is there a datasheet which codecs an specifications are supportet by the Xbox one s? Every Cheap DVD Play got this Information in it´s Manual...

    Slow out-of-sync 720p video playback

Hi Mister Rush. Thanks for the reply.

    -

As stated above, I even tried playing the file off a USB stick. Same problem. The file played. Audio was normal, but video in slow motion. Specs of the file (basically a 720p MP4 file with H264 video and AAC audio) are in my post above.

    -

The problem seems to me, to be the Xbox's lack of ability to play these files in either the System Video Player from USB media, or Xbox Video via Nokia's "Play To" app. My understanding is the 720p H264+AAC shouldn't be a problem for the Xbox, so my guess
is that there's probably something about the file itself that the Xbox doesn't like.

My Nokia 700 is a Symbian Belle phone, so no option for SmartGlass. Thanks.
