    So I downloaded the media player app hoping to listen to my music playing witcher 3 and.... I have to have it snapped, when I didnt have to on 360. and cannot control the musics individual volume, like I could on 360. WHY IS THE XBOX ONE MUSIC PLAYER
    WORSE THAN THE 360 ONE YEARS AFTER THE LAUNCH OF THE XBOX ONE

    Can this be fixed soon? Please. Its so backwards its sad.

    What are your favorite new things the X1 can do now after all dem epic updates?

    That is why I said it, because those apps have to be snapped. I want to play my game full screen with the music in the background.

    Simple question about Media player preview

    By now the media player app does not support snap mode and also stops playing when minimized. 'Til now it's just a preview of the app so hopefully these features will be added in the final release.

    The 360 doesn't have more features than the One. The media player on the One can play far more codecs and containers than the 360's media player ever could, but I agree that it would be nice to be able to play background music without having the app snapped.

    Thanks, could you also look into whether there the media player app is snap-able meaning I can just plug a USB in, start the app, turn on a song, then jump into a game while that music still plays?

    I mean, there are already some Windows 10 apps like 'Stream What You Hear', that allow you to output your real-time PC audio to DLNA, which I can then listen to in the Xbox Media Player app (snapped while playing a game). That's all fine. So, will the
    background music feature allow me to do the same thing, but without having to snap?
