Media Player disconnects after 30 minutes

    Media Player disconnects after 30 minutes


    Lately everytime i watch a video for about 30 minutes i get the error "Lost Connection to Hard Drive", i tried different hard drives and i get the same problem, please fix this!

    Xbox 360 Disconnects from Xbox Live

    So the result is it stays connected for longer but still disconnects after 20-30 minutes.

    Media Player disconnects after 30 minutes

    Hey there Vandit Revers!

    Sorry to hear about the disconnection issue. Since you have tried a couple hard drives, I suggest

    Uninstalling and Reinstalling     the Media Player app. Before you reinstall the app, power cycle your Xbox One console as well to clear your system cache. To power cycle, follow the steps below:

    • Press and hold the power button from your Xbox One console for 10 seconds or until the unit fully powers off.
    • Unplug the power cable from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Power the console back on and verify if the issue persists.
    • Reinstall Media Player app.
    Post back and let us know if that helps!

    I am having the same problem. I can reproduce the Live disconnect while watching Media Player and then pausing - It will disconnect within 1 minute. Sometimes it will disconnect while I'm watching a movie. It will also disconnect when playing single player
    - multiplayer is fine.

    I have a Slim with a Linksys e3000 - Internet is 105mb down on Comcast.

    any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Forza Horizon 4 disconnecting from live sessions (PC)

    Downloaded today whole game in 2hours 30 odd minutes. Doesn't seem to be bad internet. Keep disconnecting from live session after 1 minute of entering into live. Same problem here.
