    Media Player bugs


    Hello Support,

    I have encountered a couple of annoying bugs with the Media Player app.

    - If the user has 11-12 items to select from the user will be unable to use Kinect commands to select those episodes. The user will also not be given the option to use Next Page to be able to select those items using the Kinect. This forces the user to use
    the controller. (Note: this also occurs with more items if the last 2 reach the edge of the screen.

    - The Media Player will often not recognize the WD My Cloud (could possibly happen with other cloud servers, but I do not have access to those) when the Media Player app is started. This requires the user to select Quit from the Menu and restart the Media
    Player again (this usually fixes the problem, but sometimes it does not).

    Please address these issues as they are quite annoying bugs for an otherwise good app.

    Xbox media player bug???

    Okay if anyone had this problem it's now solved and all you need to do is deactivate windows media player on your CPU, restart and reactivate it. Simple but was a pain to find.

    Hi there everyone, I was wondering if anyone had problem connecting to there cpu since the last windows update. And if anyone had it have you found any way to get it working again. Thanks and if I found it before anyone I'll let you know.

    Try a hard reset, and disconnect the power brick from the power and disconnect the HDMI cable.

    I don't think this involves the HDMI cabling, but was told to switch mine out when I asked the same thing (noticed the same with mine).

    I however think it is a bug in the software where it times out (not seeing activity from the controller) instead of seeing activity through media players such as media player, video player, youtube or Netflix.

    This just started when the lastest update was downloaded.

    Doesn't Windows Media Player and Zune update the metadata when it scans the library with missing information? If not, is there a way that I can update all of the metadata in my library? Also, why does it want to download the same song? It knows the song
    is there, and it has enough information to actually go locate that same song and download it again. Or are you saying that it's comparing the information from Zune and Windows Media Player and during the comparision with what's actually in the library it
    can't locate the songs. If that's the case, it kind of sounds like a bug doesn't it? :-/
