    Media player app won't work


    My media player app for Xbox One is not working. It recognises the USB but when I click on it to open the files it disappears and shuts down the screen. Any advice?

    So do i and streaming works fine.

    I had to allow streaming to xbox one in windows media player then leave windows media player and the media player app on x1 running for a few minutes before it started working.

    MKV vids with DTS audio won't work for me either. This should be a simple update for media player app I would think. Crossing my fingers they include as many audio formats as possible.

    Try uninstalling reinstalling the media player app that seems to work.
