Media Player App unavailable

Discus and support Media Player App unavailable in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am unable to download the Media Player app on my Xbox one.     Media Player App unavailable


    I am unable to download the Media Player app on my Xbox one.

    While I am already confused as to why I have to download support for a feature prebuilt into my Xbox 360, I am even more perplexed as to why it is currently unavailable in the store. Repeated attempts to download this have all lead to repeated messages of
    the App being unavailable. Any thoughts?

    Sorry, we could not start media player 0x87de2712 error

    Thought I was being clever by uninstalling the media player app and try to reinstall it.... The app is "unavailable" in the app store... Great. Lol :/

    There was a service alert yesterday and content in the store was affected.

    Everything should be back up and running, but if you're still having issues please post back here and let us know!
